Know what to practise next.

Study Companion connects practice, answer review, Tutor support, and browser-local revision so the next step is easier to see.

ZIMSEC and Cambridge-style preparation

Practise in a familiar exam context without implying official exam-board status.

More than the final answer

Review the method, the mistake, and the material behind the question.

Shaped by Zimbabwean learning realities

Affordability, connectivity, modest devices, and local curriculum context are design constraints from the beginning.

Available today: the individual Student MVP and a controlled presentation demo. Parent, teacher, tutor, and school workspaces are planned, not shipped.

AI explains.
You do the learning.

  • Attempt first. The Tutor supports thinking, hints, and review.
  • Formative, not official. AI does not issue exam-board grades.
  • Check what matters. Compare important explanations with trusted material or a teacher.

The short answers.

Is Study Companion an official ZIMSEC or Cambridge product?

No. It supports ZIMSEC and Cambridge-style preparation but is not affiliated with either exam board and does not provide official marking.

Does the AI Tutor just give me answers?

It is designed to encourage an attempt, explain concepts, and support an independent retry. Important explanations should still be checked.

Can I use my own study material?

Yes. Supported PDFs with selectable text can become reusable Study Sources. Use material you are permitted to upload and review the generated questions.

Where is my learning data stored?

Current Study Sources, history, revision state, resume drafts, and PDF files are saved in your browser. Cloud learning-data sync is not available.
